Yah... K2 is pretty unique by any standards in SG. Was at the Post Center the other day, and thought of just walking over to take a look at what K2 is all about.
Its not a shop per se in the normal sense, yet it was late afternoon about 4pm and there were like 5~6 people waiting around either to collect their serviced watches / servicing or just having a chat amongst themselves. Mr Goh was really busy so didn't want to disturb him as I just browsed what was on the shelves (which wasn't much at all as most were serviced / customers' watches with a sprinkling of parts ). And was off in under 5 minutes.
A lot of old school vibe there, definitely a place for those who like the less flashy, more personal side of the service industry. My kind of shop. :)

My personal opinion, skywatches is quite ok. I went to their retail store (Watch Fashion) at Chinatown, you must know your stuff well before buying. Do some research, I got 3 Seikos from there which have no problem. Go in and ask firmly before purchase. I told the local aunty (I think is the lady boss, very friendly local aunty and uncle), I want warranty card, box, hang tags, instruction booklet and everything. She happily complied with my request and gave me everything. I even request for a undated warranty card but they kindly rejected and insisted it must be dated, which I feel that it is reasonable on their part.
So far my impression on Skywatches (Watch Fashion) has been a pleasant one. I read reviews about overseas buyer having bad reviews, bad customer service, etc.. So far I have no comments as I never buy from Skywatches online store before, i always visit the shop, feel the product, talk to them before purchase. Just my personal opinion, not too sure about others about their experience..

I also bought many seiko, citizen and Casio from them. Actually the uncle is friendly, the two young ladies also become friendlier now. But as mentioned, must know your stuff and do price comparison, some of their stuff is cheap but some actually more expensive than other places. As I have had no problems with the watches never had a chance to activate their in house warranty, so that part I cannot comment.
