Re: K2 Thread
hi guys. just wondering do mr goh provide a change of metal bracelet to a leather strap for my watch?
Re: K2 Thread
He does but if it's a simple change on a regular watch, would suggest to give it a try on your own.

Would be a worthwhile skill to pick up as you would find endless changes in future.

Have fun!

I used a unbended paper clip the first time for those lugs with drilled holes of course. hehe.

I have seen Mr Goh using a toothpick once..

But In answer to yiur question, you can get simple tools from China which you can find sometimes in those value shops, If you dont mind paying more, there is Khatena at Rochor Center which sells pro watch tools.

You can also get some tools from watch shops like Superchrono in Sim Lim, Passions in Funan and JW watch in International Plaza. Opening Times and price you can check the web. I am sure there are others.

Be aware that scratches will happen, so you might wanna practise on cheaper stuff first.

FYI, I still let the pros do my higher end pieces. Heart pain when scratches come from own clumsiness. Can always blame the pro if scratched

Happy hunting.
Re: K2 Thread
i have checked the watch and sadly my lugs is not those with drilled holes. i think i will let mr goh handle this timepiece. i will grab the tools to practice on my cheaper time piece. anyway thanks for ur advice.!

Hi guys, wanna check if mr goh can/willing to service omega sea master ?

Depends on movement, my ETA based seamaster posed no problems to Mr. Goh. But I think he may draw the line on Co axial movements. No harm bringing it down to him for a quick look.
Re: K2 Thread
Hi guys, bought an apollon recently, realise the date wheel is slightly misaligned plus a spech of dust on number 5 of the date wheel. took it back to gnomon and they said they will repair it. got it back today, they did remove the dust/dirt on number 5 of the date wheel but they said they are unable to align the date wheel back.

so would mr goh of k2 be able to help me align the date wheel back? :?:

EDIT: it runs on a elabore 2824 movt

Thanks for this vital information. I searched in the net and learned that this caliber is "not common". Mostly used for dress watches.

Cheers.
Re: K2 Thread
Have never seen any alpinist at k2. You can scour the local sales forums for new or used. Or buy from Japan?

Hi,

I got a SSC113P1 it's my first watch since primary school that's why not used to wear a watch and have some scratches on the watch case. Was wondering if Mr. Goh could do something about the scratches? I know it's a normal Seiko watch, but still hope the scratches can be remove..

Thanks you in advance!

Welcome on board SCS Bro.

Are the scratches that bad? Wondering if you can just leave them as it is.

Just my 2 cents.
