I just molested this piece a few hours ago... and one thing i can tell all! The movement is very the... VIRGIN FRESH!!! You know the kind of freshness and tightness...

On the tightness, the O-ring to the stem is not too unnaturally tight, but feels good!

On the freshness, from a total rest, just a few turns lesser than 10, the movement runs again! And the crystal is very the shiny and scratchless! When you try to capture the reflection of the flourecent light tube, the reflected image of the light is not white with blue hues, but totally blue!These could shows that the watch is not worn frequently, but the casing may speak otherwise... as if the previous owner is a "chiu cheng kia".

Price for the Chrono... something like 1.X k.



Besides the SINN Chronograph, i have also just touched the IWC military, which the movement, encik GOH claims that is a "yah kak la kak gu -- coconut shell stirs longer" make... casing condition... you see from the picture lah, the crown the screw in type... so possibly with some kind of water resistance specs. Crystal... is sapphire, but no anti-reflect coating. Quite small lah, like the SINN Chrono.

Price? About 3x of the SINN Chrono...

Not sure if ah Goh has or if he has will he sell. Try khatena at rochor centre. They should have those there. But they are closed on Sundays and open till 12noon on Saturdays only.

Drop by Ah Goh shop to collect the BB mod. He has 2 x 4s15 Alphinist for sale. Black dial comes with bracelet. Cream with gold trim comes on strap.



Mr Goh will rest for CNY next Friday onwards. So last day for this lunar year is on Thursday.

Wow. This is very temptg. I was lookg at a blue 1 actually. Saw a few ppl sellg but px was too high for me. I calld mr goh, this px is really attractive. If it,d were blue, i,d fly down immediately :p

I get to know this from the watch shop that sells me my Seiko. On the warranty card, is there a difference if the model is computerized printed and hand written? She told me that if the wordings are hand written, the watch cannot be repaired at TS. True?

So for those hand written card, can i say that the watches are parallel import and not distributed by TS?

Where do you guys frequent? From the forum, it seems like K2, A Clxx and Sxxwatches. Which is better in your opinion?

PI sets are usually covered by in-house warranty. Most of these shops don't provide a warranty card for PI pieces but rely on the receipts as proof of purchase and warranty.



You missed out another shop on your list - twinkle time.

tbh, warranty doesn't play a big part for us as I buy PI sets for most of my Seikos



I dun see a need to buy a TS set when you are paying slightly more for just the TS warranty of 1 year.



In-house warranty from the shop is sufficient enough :)



The usual suspects are K2, Twinkle for me if I am buying any Seikos



Mustafa will be the place for me to browse. Once a while, I will buy a Seiko from Mustafa Export Section.

Somemore diff watch company has diff warranty card format.



Company chop by conventional rubber stamp n handwritten date is normal std.

For me, no worry whether there is warranty or not if I am buying a Seiko. Seiko watches are extremely reliable. I am speaking for myself hor.

if the watch u bought is a TS set , of cos you can bring it back to repair or svc any fault within warranty. Non ts set, they do, i aint so sure.



That customer most likley didnt disclosed the actual reason why TS rejected him, instead merely said this to her, which is not logical.



TS will be my last choice, having a bad experience with them b4.



last year i bought 2 tuna sardine from K2, both TS set.

red pc's chapter ring was not aligned to dial or bezel. Timing was slight fast.



i took the watch to TS, in the end, only regulated the timing, Chapter ring according to counter gal and workshop supervisor, is likedat wan.



i immediately produced another sardine tuna i had which is well aligned, they change stand, say need to send back to main office to do lah, trying to feign ignorance.



Looks like Thong sia and Boon siew(honda motorcycles) all have this shitty issues. the products they each sell make them good money, so good, the spare parts and repair department all lack in attitude and technical skills. And they have all the equipment to do all sorts of repairs!!



In comparison, Citizen sg agent left me a good experience on both times i visted them. and i dun even know the watches i sent in were agent set.

Best of all, the watchmaker even came out to counter to explain in details on how to set the eco drive perpetual again. Thumbs up!!
