went to K2 just now, asked ah goh to replace the hands of my 6139-8010 with the hands from my 6139-7070, because they are similar, but ah goh said cannot be done, is this true or ah goh too busy to look at my request?

Basically chrono hands take out n fix back may take several attempts.



Cos snap back might not go back to zero in some case. n being vintage, nobody knows how many times the snap back has been used after the prev svc.



From gradually unable to snap back, need more tries to finally unable to snap.



This is my assumption for him not able to do.

Yea, hands swap for chrono is a bit tricky, especially the snap back problem. It's not as simple as take out and put back... like hour and minute hands.

i have a dress watch with him for 2 months too.

hihihi...i think maybe he got lots of chrono recently, the other day i saw someone coming with two pvd vintage le jour chrono for service, maybe he wants to take sime time off from fixing chrono ;p he fixed one of mine yesterday (i brought two yesterday) no problem lah, i'll try to figure it later



btw, who owns the omega sm 300 on ah goh's winder?

Riding on ceo's posting, ah goh is rather helpful within his means. I wanted to send in a watch for repair and he advised me to send in after CNY.
