Always a fan of vintage watches but dunno why never Seiko, recently after talking to a friend about watches & he told me so much about Seiko & suddenly I got to have a piece of Seiko vintage divers....My first was a SKX31 which I just sold off last week & got myself a 6309 yesterday...I am in LOVE!

I used to play electric guitar & those are two of my favorites. Guitarists who listen to rock music will surely know what my nick stands for.



I got bitten by the watch bug in late 2008 & never looked back since. Yes, I'm semi-retiring from guitar playing. Lol.



Most of the watches in my collection tells a story. What's yours?

Just a short intro, I started off with SCWF when it was set up in NW54, and those were good times where almost everything off ebay were real, and fakes were all ASEIKONs in Orient style cases, which you can spot a mile away. There was a small group of local forumners there, and I remember meeting up with them 6-7 yrs back and we were only a handful.



I'm glad to see that the local Seiko community here has grown bigger and better over the years, especially with this forum in place.



I will drop in from time to time, as I still do at SCWF.



Here's a shot of some of my old pieces, but sadly no longer with me.

Hi Guys,



My name is Sandeep and Im a Film Making student and blogger at FoneArena where I am the Imaging and Review specialist. I recently bought myself a Seiko SSC073P1. I dont see many photos online of the watch. I had another Seiko before that. It was an Automatic 5 Superior in Silver colour. I really love that one but I mishandled it quite badly as it was during my schooling and I think Ive misplaced it. Cant remember the model number etc. Im trying to locate that and see if I can get a new one or one in good condition.

Anyway Ive decided to learn more about watches, Seiko in particular and that is my reason for joining this forum. Hope that Ill be able to gain knowledge and help others too along with that.

Have always been a fan of Seiko watches but not collecting seriously. Recently bumped into "Meepokman" at K2 (didn't know that you could mod a Seiko also!) and was introduced to this world of Seiko collectors!

nothing amazing about my collection. as with my other watch purchases, i only acquire those that 'speak' to me.

oh hello drizzle, think I used to share same collecting focus as you though not active with Seiko digitals now. But still I am interested when I see one for sale outside... be it the running man variants,octopussy james bond,horseshoe black bezel ana digi H357, H556/H558/H601,aliens variants(hrm),old school 70s and 80s calculators watches etc



as usual prices soar for these digitals/ana digis... not as easy to get a good deal nowadays... ;)
