s$4000 for a S series exp 2... no box/papers though...

you guys think its a reasonable price?

Bro, 93 model bt I jz wondering why seller up bump up to 36 posts still haven't sold :?: :?:[/quote]
I think initially he selling at $4300 that's why. but then I may be wrong... perhaps really something's amiss? it's attractive to me cause it comes with 13 links... should be able to fit my fatty wrist....

circa 1993 means worst case it is 18 years w/o servicing (very likely the case)...

servicing i think will cost $300 onwards (rsc even more ex...), but I think cannot save bah... 18 yrs liao...

but seller mentioned good condition, by right pictures shouldn't turn potential buyers off... unless its so buang that he dun dare to post pics...

I'm no authority on the Mk 4.5 but sure looks like a Lemania 5100, just rebranded to an Omega Calibre.

The characteristic 4 hands on the centre, the top 24-hr sub-dial, and the extremely thick case (because of the thick movement).

Isn't $1550 better invested in my Tag Super Professional? Monocoque, well-established collectible, immediate cross-over from Heuer days, 1000m, serviced by agent, full links and box?

but

No small watches for me...

Re: S I C / Sharing Is Caring for Non-Japanese Watches
I think the baby Omega is not small, it's only baby as compared to the ploprof...

Its not that small lar..

but bit smaller nia and the depth rating is less than the PloProf. PloProf is an abbreviation of the words Plongeuer Professional = French for Professional Diver. Approx 40mmX42mm,without crown and from lug to lug

also known as baby ploprof..sounds more correct than 'baby omega'.. :D
ivan

Ha ha ha.....

Pardon my ignorance.

I saw baby, I tot is small.

At least 42mm?
oOsiMm
Re: S I C / Sharing Is Caring for Non-Japanese Watches
should be slight more with full crown included...but normally ppl measure case size nia so 40mm.. this is men's size vintage diver
