They have to make/commit for a volume more than 100. And to be able to do this, with stable supply of movements, they have to engage 3rd party maker with bigger and larger facilities. Grovana is one such maker, who have a history record with Steinhart, that ARAMAR can depend on.







Look back @ ARAMAR's own designed homage product, the Seven Seas and the Arctic Seas... sadly... it doesn't seems to sell well than what Steinhart watches do, hence they're gantung or diao du for good... The price point oredi looses out to Steinhart liaoz!

It may sound too sarcastic... but which goondu would want to pay 7++ euro for each of these models? Especially when homages from Squale and Steinhart are better quality, and priced less than 400eu(dunno whether did i remember wrongly, brudder Rogue does own 3? Or 4? Squale sub homage...) than these 2... erhem... clowns?

When a project is delayed, changed etc... they will be alot of negativity from members who participated and not. Everyone has an opinion to give. The reality is if Aramar had stuck with Steinhart, he would not have a definite date of production (which is what it sounds like) and in order to deliver on the initial promise sooner rather than later, Aramar has chosen to use another supplier. We can only speculate what happened. If you do not have confidence in this, then its obvious what you should be doing. Otherwise, sit it out and get your product in hand before being rash. Maybe its silly to not have steinhart "backing" this project as the name does give some non tangible assurances but in reality, does that matter alot to you? If Aramar knowningly changed parts/supplier and substituted then IMO there is cause for concern but given what has happened, it looks like he is just trying to get the finished watch to his customers who paid. (You don't have to agree with this opinion and if you feel cheated, its a good decision to back out)

Those who have an OVM, is the color of the lume pip on your bezel insert consistent with the cream patina markers or does it have a shade of green like mine, in fact it looks like the lume pip came from the other ocean 1 series.

I thought it was available a week or 2 before the ovg? The Pepsi was sold out within 2 hours I think.



My advise is to check with gnomon as an alternative. They should be getting some if steinhart has released them in their website. Question is how many and how many have been pre-booked?

The vintage titanium is Matte titanium or sandblasted I think. I thought its the lighting.

Waliew!! Sianz 1/2. They suppose open order 9am their time (abt 4pm sgp time) now i suppose they're waiting on caseback manufacturer to confirm delivery before opening the preorder. If they open in middle of night sgp time then gone case :(
