The architecture of the movement design should be the same... just that the ELABORE movement is decorated and more pricey than the standard grade... this topic was brought up in WUS sometimes back... maybe recently the folks had forgotten about that...

OK, had a chat with Gunter again last night & this time I remembered to ask about the O2 movement grade.



As I expected, all Oceans 2's (O2, blue, white, yellow, orange) use Elabore grade of the ETA 2824-2 movement.

As of 0100hrs 10th April, out of all five O2 variants, except for Ocean 2 Blue, the rest four product pages in Steinhart website are updated with clear specification of STANDARD grade 2824 movement.

All 5 variants now comes with additional link to opt for the pairing steel bracelet.

I haven't tried but thought it should work. Not rub on la. Baking soda needs an agent like water. I would suggest you leave it on its own cos its a one way trip.

What i'd really like to see fm steinhart nx would b a regulator and moonphase model :) think eta makes both movemts? But nv seen a affordable model bef. Think min fr either i've seen also 2k+
