Look like cordovan leather. To be frank its easy to do, lesser steps than the normal strap

Yup corovan is expansive.



most nato i see in leather is single layer one..... i think should be ok ba.... the one u get for us also single layer.. any issue with it?



K2 one also single layer if not mistaken.



wanted to make a nato one.... but i got to take out the buckle from a brand new nato strap.... very sayang leh... keke :lol:



will ty it out if time permit...

Hi guys and gals, need your opinion here.



Started this project. Dark brown thick leather strap in 22mm. I would like to make full stitch for this strap but yet to decide what colour of stitching and what type of tail to match it. The 2nd photo show the thread colour (beige, red, dark blue and light blue). Which one do you think will match the strap colour? Or none will match? Of cos I've got the basic colour like black, dark brown and white colour thread too but would like to try out something different.



How about the tail? Sword? Knife?

hmmm, i feel this time can try sometink more 'unique, maybe the 115 side,, use a sharp knife/scissors to carve/snip out an 'irregular design but not too deep cos got to factor in the width when slotting it thru the buckle, so that the strap wun feel wobbly?



use beige thread liao. at least beige on brown is neutral & will match with any dial.

I like the threading style but the hand grip pattern at the edge too much for me too... lol.

Rafs is absolutely correct!



Its very easy to make straps that now there're over 140 strapmakers I've noted, not including bro sinner1974, rafs and kokoro :lol:



Good job bro sinner1974, i can see you work like a pro! Do teach us how to make leather nato straps please.
