Thanks!

Singapore buyer will be SGD580.

Crystal can get from Thong Sia. Hands very difficult to find.

Other option is to find a 6309/6306 movement.

I have a bare 6306 movement if you need, just need to find a dial and a hand set.

PS: mod, please delete if against forum rule. Thanks!!

Possible to test market.. once this 150 sell out, I bet he will produce more. Maybe another 150 2nd edition LE ? Add variation to dial or case back to mark the difference..

So the first 150 will be become the "rare collectible" series

the operating hours for this shop is very weird de

they do not open everyday [/quote]

The boss is Desmond. He opens his shop on Sundays from 2pm to 5pm only. Sometimes it is not even open on Sundays. Better to call or e-mail him before going.
Re: S I C / Sharing Is Caring for Japanese Watches
so far haven't got a chance to visit that shop, it's always closed when i'm there.

CEO, has the price of this watch gone up? Late last year, I went with my friend to K2 and he bought a mint (no sign of wear) piece with stainless steel bracelet and full box at cheaper than this price.

He bought it on 23 July 2011 from K2. I am not sure whether it is brand new or pre-owned, but it looks like nobody has worn the watch before. Not even a microscopic scratch anywhere including bracelet. My friend, who is not not a watch collector and a very frugal person, FHFL grabbed it and paid for it. I bought an old hand-wind Technos from Ah Goh on the same day.

indeed CEO,this is the non bevelled day/date window variant,dial is late production made in Hongkong so at 6oclock it should be ;

xxxxxxxx MOVT JAPAN CASED HONG KONG not HONG KO hence its a repro dial.

also on a correct 6309/6306 dial, the printed wordings ' SEIKO ,AUTOMATIC ,150m and the row of text at 6oclock' should be in silver paint instead of whitish paint.

but a HK cased 6309 is 7049 right, not 7040 iirc

i always get mixed up btwn a normal 6309 & a HK cased variant

"The 7040 designation denotes watches intended for the Japanese home market and the rest of the world, while the 7049 designation was assigned to those watches intended for export to North America"

dial still can be interchanged while sent for servicing ard seiko service centers worldwide...so still acceptable if all is original. In this case, the dial is a repro.
Re: S I C / Sharing Is Caring for Japanese Watches
in short, pass this 6309,lol
