blue monster is not a LE version, it's only released in limited quantities each year but iirc, it had stopped production liao.

ya indeed rare... last time I had opportunity to buy a 800m quartz locally and even 1300m(rarest of all) quartz from auctionsite. The prices were nt tat friendly..



nt sure abt this 800m..but citizen tend to use plastic parts on module more than Seikos,which will turn brittle over decades..so if no battery/time to bring module out to troubleshoot...its a risk lor.. be it the PCB/plastic cover etc..tend to turn flaky n brittle... (nt all citizens but least what I found).. also another thing is the availability of parts for this 800m from old Citizen divers(nt sure which one share similar module).. IMO Seiko quartz diver better in built/parts/servicing.

Not really leh. Those that I was interested in not worth getting from petrolnut.

Mudman cheaper at Bencoolen. $88 compared to $99 from petrolnut. Plus when I went few months back, the beige one on sale at $68 but didnt like the feel on my wrist.

G5600, G7900 and Gulfman prices are the same or very little difference, might as well get from Bencoolen.

You absolutely right, the price difference differs between models. That's why i said can fight bencoolen, and not universally cheaper than bencoolen.



I incur significant costs going Bencoolen, and my usual activities do not take me near there. So, I like it that Petrolnut delivers, and have enjoyed numerous purchases from him. I still buy from Bencoolen (mainly 3D), but have found WatchWagon cheaper for several models that I purchased. In some cases he had models that 3D was perpetually out-of-stock for.[/quote]
