If we're just putting our focus on the accident, we will tend to see that the accident may have triggered the riot.

But... does it make sense that the SCDF guys trying hard to pull out the casualty of the accident from the bus bottom gets attacked? Make no sense at all...

And then speculations starts to kicks in... like what you see on the discussion threads in HWZ EDMW, people starts to doubt on the identity of the bus driver... and other kind of stuffs.



The videos in youtube don't lie. At the background of the riot, you see and hear cheering when the mobs starts to attack the police as well as the SCDF folks. WTF was going on there... really chaotic and out of control. Then people starts to ask... why is there no RoE, the Rules of Engagement? No firing warning shots? When our mata gets wacked, no shooting at the attackers? Lots of asking here and there la...



If RoE is executed, the situation gets more and more worse... eventually may evolve into hiccups on our local social harmony... This is what i see...



By the way... not to stir anything... from the last vid link i posted, did you notice that the police was giving out warning shout out to the crowds in both English and Malay? This is something which i don't understand, and find it kind of funny... on the commanding officers stupidity... Does bangalas speaks malay? Some of them, in very small numbers yes... maybe... but certainly not that bunch of mobs!

I was quite shocked as well... when i woke up last night @ 2300hrs to the news of the riot.

Usually most of the weekends, especially Sundays, i may be shopping @ ShengSiong @ the Tekka mall. But yesterday didn't go because of fever. Otherwise, i could end up in that place as i usually take bus #131 home.
