Across the saf,all got training in us leh.



Esp Sg diver,Lotsa elite course they attend in us, and get paid lump sum for completing them.



unofficially, the regular saf diver that goes for us navy seals course ( aka the same one in gi Jane) are expected to complete them with ease if not achieve good results. The old bird divers say the hell week in the us seal course is not as grueling as the Sg version!

There is no fix country for any units to go and cross train with. As long as the unit's profile+budget+necessary to send the troops for training,then it will happen. Though its rather common for certain units to go only certain countries cos no need to experience different terrain due to unit's operational profile.



Commandos have been to any country possible and also cross train with the foreign units there or locally. For example,Brunei,New Zealand,Australia(wallaby),taiwan,thailand,USA,Indonesia,germany and noteable units are the Indonesia KOPASSUS, US Special Forces Det,Thai Rangers/Marines and other classified units.



Indeed as what phantom bro mentioned, locals who are attending the US Navy BUD/S training (Basic underwater demolition/SEAL) at US NAVY Special warfare center,colorado are expected to not only to complete it but to excel in it. I know quite a number of Sergeants,CSMs ,OCs and CO in Commando family who have completed the BUD/S training and of course excel in it.



But AFAIK,note that for foreign trainees like locals,they are attending the BUD/S school as a course only and probably like 6 months.Then complete the parachute course(the locals are already paratroopers qualified before they even go) and thats how they earn their trident(SEALs trident -badge ).



Whereas for the US counterparts, they not only need to complete the BUD/S school and after which will be on course for (?) a year or two and then assigned to a team(depending on region and team XX). Thats how they will earn their trident and stay in the team and unit.

that is the downside of having two packets and smoke more. Now i try to control as don't know when Govt will increase price again.



still remember the good old day as dragon can buy at loose cheap at 20 cents and one packet selling under 8 plus if I remember correctly.
