Hiya Chris,

That's exactly what i did it on.

I did give the whole bracelet a quick polish but 90% of the work went to the deployment clasp.

Thanks for the info!

Re: Been thinking of an MM300 lately

Re: Been thinking of an MM300 lately
I was going through some buying options for mm300.

1. Tedjosg2003 - left with one in sg and it might be year 2012 made.

2. Get from hk - cheaper 2.1k sgd but need relative to help get.

3. Get from rakuten. After delivery and gst - 2.4k comes with points which can redeem for other things.

Anyone has experienced with rakuten dealers? How is their communication and customer service?

Thanks in advance. :)
Re: Been thinking of an MM300 lately
So far I dealt with 4 different dealers from rakuten randomly. They all about the same, prompt with email replies, only charge when shipping charges is confirm and you agree to the final price. I find them trustworthy. And JaPan EMS delivery is very efficient. From day of ship, the fastest I got was 3 days. Even the longest is within a week. Can't comment on customer service, as there isn't a need to use it yet.

You missed their 25X points promotion just a couple of weeks ago. Imagine with mm300 price, the points may worth $400 or so for next purchase.

LOL.... should I or should I not?
Re: Been thinking of an MM300 lately
The MM300 is readily available at Vivo and Westgate Seiko boutique. Drop by and have a look, then get from cheaper source :p
Re: Been thinking of an MM300 lately

I have never bought from rakuten before and I presume you are referring to the rakuten global and not the Singapore site?

I tried to search on the rakuten global but the product description varies and some even describe the sbdx001 as quartz calibre... Lol I certainly hope its due to the language difference.

Any reputable seller on rakuten for a fuss free bergin purchase to recommend?
Re: Been thinking of an MM300 lately
Rakuten global. Seiko3s and Premium shop have the cheapest sbdx001...but according to them, it is with Japan only warranty so if anything wrong Thong Sia will send back to Japan for repair with u paying the shipping.
Re: Been thinking of an MM300 lately
Rakuten global now having 20x bonus points. Pair it up with seller offering 10x will give 30x points. With the price of the mm300, the 30x points could worth around $500 or more. Maybe top up a little can get a free sumo in the next purchase.
Re: Been thinking of an MM300 lately
What's the typical shipping cost? Does it includes insurance? If the watch is dead on arrival does the seller bear responsibility or I will have to suck thumb?

Sorry to ask so much questions as I can't read Japanese.
Re: Been thinking of an MM300 lately
Found a alternative source bnib mm300 going for 23xx SGD and comes with 1 year international warranty.

Now dilemma on which path to take.

Must be a Indo seller? If got valid AD stamped international warranty card it's a good price. Just around $200 difference from rakuten with Japan domestic warranty.

If you have low risk appetite than get the more expensive one, best if can FTF deal in sg.

Based on current exchange rate, mm300 from rakuten after gst is approx $2216.38 and this is excluding the shipping fee. Assuming with shipping in, it should be in the range of $2300.

I can't seem to find mm300 at rakuten for 1900.
Re: Been thinking of an MM300 lately
So far all the watched i bought from from different japanese dealers uses Japan EMS, deliver by speedpost. Chances of kenna gst is high for purchase above $400. shipping cost for watches around $17 - $20.

Better check with the dealers directly for warranty. Most warranty valid within japan only. Don't know about the mm300, pls write to the dealers to inquire.

Price when I checked earlier today was around 2050 SGD without shipping. Postage is cheap less than 50SGD. Hence around 2100 SGD

2050 SGD was before factoring in of gst?

Have bought multiple watches in the GST chargeable range from Japan, Germany and USA. My experience is I pay GST only when the seller uses a courier service like DHL etc. For all my Japan speedpost shipments so far have never been asked to pay GST.
