just ordered my tuna. but i also just saw the mm300 at big time awhile back. the face looks smaller than i expected. but it seems to be growing on me. it's too much poison in too little time. haha

Just to share this hk source, is it reliable I do not know but they have a shop for viewing and their prices are rather competitive. Facebook: search for clemiko timepiece.

hi guys, just wanna share that i got my mm300 in hongkong a week ago from this shop https://www.facebook.com/WatchOutz.. Its a proper brick and mortar shop located in jordan, i got it for exactly 13300HKD on cash terms. Additional 3% if you wanna pay by card.



Warranty card with japan dealer stamp, but hk shop owner filled in the exact date of purchase.



Saw various limited edition g-shocks, seiko mm600, sumo, tunas and a GS in the small shop. Had a chat and found out he ships overseas too.

Correct me if I am wrong, the conversion from HK 13k to Sing is about 2.6 k plus for MM 300, well we can still get it locally for 2.5k, isn't it more cheaper to get it here?



Ps: I am not flaming anyone in particular :p

Yea that's right, I got it just under 2200sgd... Exchange rate when I was there was roughly 1sgd=6.13hkd

The conversion is about right, if pay by cash. if not then there will be a charge on the VISA which was mentioned at 3%.

BNIB with warranty from a local shop in Jakarta. He works in Jakarta but he comes to SG every month and he gets stock from there if there's buyer from SG. Same as shaggy, just that shaggy sells higher than this guy.



You can contact him, the transaction I had with him was perfect. Met him at kallang mrt.

Checked online, he does not have as many high end Seikos leh.



The other strange thing is that the Indons come over to buy and we buy from there, wonder where is the catch?



But I guess as long as we get the best deals, less said may be better..hahaha.

I was recently poisoned at Big Time when I get to handle the MM300, before it was sold. Now itching to get one.

Looks like tedjosg2003 have a good deal, will search for him.

Haha I think my Mathis failed, in this case it's a good deal to get one in HK, just to check will it be cheaper to get it in Jap?

did a brief conversion at 82yen:1sgd using the price listed on Yodobashi. Including tax rebate of 5% its about 2120sgd. If include gst then not worth it liao. If going there on holiday then yeah, its cheaper.

Was at Bigtime and saw the MM300...surprisingly it looks quite small up close.



Didn't ask for it to be taken out so i could be mistaken as i am sure the casing is quite chunky.



Handled the SBDX011 and i am slightly tempted to top up to get that instead of the MM300...



Anyway service at Bigtime is fantastic (got the Blumo from them!)

Looking to wear it on a leather nato or hirsch strap..hmmm.



The clasp looked abit worn (bracelet is good though) in the pics he showed me..will the scotchbrite greenpad work on a brushed surface?

I think scotchbrite supposed to work on brushed surface, tried it before on my olde speedmaster clasp, made a mess out of it...i think i made it worse..probably user incompetence in my case heh heh ultimately sent it to be done by the professionals...might be good idea to experiment on a cheaper brushed finishing surface first?

Hmm thanks for the reply bro.



I checked Gnomon watches yesterday and they quoted me 50 bucks for polishing of bracelet and clasp.



But they said had to wait about 1-2 weeks.



Where's that small watch shop you're talking about if i might ask?

Just a quick update...



I tried the green pad polishing method on my MM300 bracelet and i'm pleased to say it REALLY works like a charm.



i didn't even use any branded green pad. just got one from my neighbourhood store (3 in 1 pack, no brand)



Perfect for desk diving marks.



The bracelet is looking 90% new again.



Pretty pleased with the results.



The marks you see on the bracelet are my finger prints, not scratches.







(will try to find before photo, but trust me, it was way, way worse than what you're seeing now).

Hiya Chris,



That's exactly what i did it on.



I did give the whole bracelet a quick polish but 90% of the work went to the deployment clasp.
