I know, k2 don't have that kind of leather nato. Gona get a few other colors too to play around with this watch looks good with almost any combi



however... K2 have something that looks like the one in the picture... a little lighter on shade more... blends very will with the vintage lume of the OVM.

My ocean 1 green finally touched down today. Was very excited to unbox it... Everything was good except for minor issues like rock solid bezel which takes 9 cow 2 tiger strength to turn and somehow the pip doesn't seems to be really align. And the first link of the SS bracelet from the lug seems to be also outta alignment and its rubbing against the lug.



Any lao jiao can advise should I ignore the above mentioned and live with it or take it up with steinhart?

The pip mis-alignment thing is quite common... my green O1 is also a little to the left of the triangle... but i don't really care that much lah... from a certain distance, cannot notice. As long as the pip aligns with 12 will do.

Bracelet... hard to determine unless we see it in life... luckily yours is SS case and bracelet, if DLC... cannot image man...

Hmmm what about your bezel? Is it damn hard to turn? I compared it to my ocean 44 , the ocean 1 green bezel is damn tight and very hard to turn. Need to use lotsa strength to turn a single click.

U got notice any irregularities with your bezel? Machiam the flatness balance of the bezel insert?

That was the first thing I checked upon discovering the difficulty in turning the bezel. Everything looks good and even... The bezel insert... The alignment of the bezel itself and the sapphire crystal itself. Everything look even and balance. Hence that's what puzzled me.



Now having own 2 steinhart on SS bracelet, I must say the quality/ finishing of the bracelet is abit off desirable. Can feel the rough cut of it as compared to even seiko. By seiko standard so far the monster and sumo which I have, the bracelet is smooth to the touch wor. Especially the sumo.

Lol just saw my joined date... 26 Oct 2012.... Not even 6 months in this forum and I hooted 2 seiko and 2 steinhart. Now tempting to hoot a tuna but my wife is holding me back. And my colleagues all suan me say I keep on buying watches that look like lolex... Might as well go get a lolex and get over the itch...

Lol indeed. That's what holding me back cos I dun like to buy Pre-loved stuff unless I know the previous owner well and know that the stuff is well taken care of. That's what holding me back on leaping onto a lolex.... Akin to a brand new car, the moment it leaves the showroom depreciation immediately kicked in le. I'm just a salaried employee and even if I wore a genuine DSSD worth 15k on my wrist, people will still think I'm wearing a fake. Worse still, wait my boss red eye then me jialat liao.

Personally... i won't jump in harshly to cheong for a lolek... Why...?

1. The current price of LOLEK is too high... i have to think about my ability and how much it cost to my annual income.

2. Like what you pointed out... i myself is also not executive pay taker... if i really dump in my savings to get a LOLEK GREEN FROG, how much will it cost me? How much will i be in debt... if i opt for installment? And to others around me... folks will doubt me like others doubt you... is that real or fake?

3. LOLEK good as value keepers? Sure or not... Lets say i spend 12k buy first hand, when i flip, 33% lost? If i buy @ 8k 2nd hand, when i flip, another 33% lost? I might as well buy 3rd hand right? At least when i buy @ 5k, i can flip @ about 4k or maybe a little more... that's around 20% loss...



Buy STEINHART better lah... less than 1k. 1.5k can huntum 2.

So steinhart ba. But I'm a bit unhappy with the bracelet feel wor. Got alternative bo? Especially the steinhart clasp hor. One day take out few times and my finger nails all chipped. :evil:

I also experienced inconsistent build qualities on my syringes. The engraving on my ovm has sharper edges than my o1vgmt and the ovm Bo.

That email option is just for show... why I say so? Cause I used that email option like months back for the ocean 1 green and despite batches of stock coming in on and off, I never received any notification at all. Ended up I purchased directly from Steinhart.



I guess some of the bros here mentioned before, for Gnomon need to pay a small deposit to "chop" stock.

I think is is how it works. If they have collected too many pte-orders, they probably will not have enuf left for walk-in's and even those that had asked to be noticed when new stocks arrive. I'm not sure about email requests but I have seen them calling back customers that called or walked in and asked to be noticed when a specific model arrives. However, they will only try their best to hold for you cos if someone walks in and buys the same piece before you come then too bad.

Steinhart's website is showing gmt range only available in June.

In a way, it forces me to stop craving for the gmt and allows me to enjoy my newly bought OM till then.
