I feel it,s more inspired by the aquatimer rather than a actual homage, 1 reason i never really caught on to it actually, since i already have a aquatimer :p. There,s design similarities but also enough difference to set it apart.

Same here I got my payment acknowledgment on 2 Apr and no news since then. But then again they did mention that the watches won't ship before mid Apr. My dilemma now is should I email them to add the white ocean 2 to my order

i'm eyeing on the aviation gmt or triton dual time (hoping to have my first real gmt watch) but both are sold out at steinhart's website.

any bros own any of these 2? any comments?

I have the aviation gmt. No complaints. But unlike other 2893 movements that I have, steinhart's 2893 winds like a quartz. Extremely quiet. Same for my steinhart ocean vtg gmt. I let bro Badern have a feel last Saturday. He was very surprised as well. U can't feel the grinding at all.

Try to make a call to Steinhart Germany during 5pm till 9pm local time, where in Germany is 11am ~ 1500hrs. Look for Mrs. GISSLER who're in-charge of order processing and dispatch co-ordinating to settle with your order. Maybe tell her that you want to cancel your previous order by quoting your order number or see if she can add in one more item for you to save on the shipping cost.

Yep... Brudder Rogue is the only one with AVIATION GMT that i can recall...

As for TRITON dual time... i don't think any brudders here had one yet... or maybe i didn't keep track much on other STEINHART diehards here like brudder STEPPER, MobileNerd as well as Rogue-Hog...

Considering the price against other STEINHART dive watches, TRITON dual time is much VFM than O2, personally on the movement.

Yes, I'm kind of leaning towards the triton dual time as well since it is newer (i think) and also the yellow really stands out IMO.

However, i also like to add a square face to my collection which the aviation gmt is.

hahah...choices...or dilemmas depending on how you look at it.

Seems to be only steinharts using 2893 only. I have a baume et mercier running on 2893 that winds with the usual winding sound. You can't even feel the friction on the steinhart 2893's.

Bro, no need PM, price is dependent on exchange rate for the day so you agar can calculate. (€295 + €30) x exchange rate (in my case 1.621) x 1.07 (for gst) + (SGD$10 - Fedex admin charge for paying gst on your behalf).



But as I ordered 3 watches together, my shipping is only €10.



Do take note that the OVM is back-ordered again and next shipment is expected to be end May. Also if you order direct from Steinhart, GnomonWatch in SG would not honor the warranty, so its your call if you want the peace of mind or saving.

Actually not directly from beach road. Someone booked one from gnomon. After 3 months plus, stock finally came. He picked it up and put it on SG-roc for sale the same day. My friend snapped it up the same night. 3 weeks later my friend got tired of it and sold it to me for $550. It was 3 weeks old when I bought it.
