Wow. Where is that strap from? The MM300 from what i recall is very heavy, not too sure about using a cloth strap. Though I have no experience.

Mm300 is not rare and u can get it low 2-mid 2k on and off the market place in

1) sg-roc

2) swx

3) watchuseek

4) scwf

and maybe seiya and other Jap websites.

Personally, I prefer to deal locally becos, I lost 2 watches from overseas trade.

Of cos, if this is your grail, then MTL, else I would make sure all the hard to find ones (Seiko for me) are found before getting this.

Hi Ivan,

Thanks for the heads up. I check the other local forums as well but would prefer a new piece. It seems to me going for mid 3k online from the three main Japanese sellers, so might have to consider a lightly used piece.

Any idea how much the anniversary sbdx003 cost?

The sbdx003 is almost the same as the MM300 except that its super limited & very slight diff in parts. Last dealed one I saw was around S$6.8grand. Had the MM300 for about a year then sold it off. Its a fine watch, great movement, beautiful monocoque case but IMO just lacking character as compared to the Tunas. Looks too much like subs.

That is just a black nato. You should be able to purchase it online or at K2?

With the right fit, the MM300 should not slide around your wrist even though it's on the heavy side.

Didn't realise the sdbx003 is so exp. I saw one of the old posts from one of the bros in here and it looks good with the gold dial. It looks like the original 6159-7001.

Hi, anyone managed to contact shaggy recently? He gave me a quote 2 months back but the MM300 wasn't in stock. He mentioned stocks coming in this month but he hasn't replied 2 of my emails I sent him.

Was at Big Time just now, price quoted is about mid 3k for MM300.

Also saw a blue tuna, 1000m auto tuna, field master.

Thanks! Still quite expensive though. At that price I can get a grand seiko or a citizen chronomaster, which I am considering. Lol. Shaggy's price seems by far the best.

Have seen his pieces selling in international forums too. Have not come across a fake MM300 and yet to. (neither have I heard from other bros)

Dont worry. Shaggy seiko are authentic and I even send the watch through Thong Sia to Seiko Japan for servicing - no problem. :D

Wanted and waited for a long while to buy the SBDX001 from shaggyangel. However, when I saw his post on the arrival of the new stock, I emailed and pm him but receive no reply. I finally gave up waiting for his reply and bought the MM300 (less than a month old) from my fren.

Every batch also limited! :lol: limited number of pieces for that production! Seriously for the price offered, not many pieces can compete with the value it offers. And most I've seen, if they flip it, will almost be yearning to get it back. Remember reading somewhere, a person flipped 3X and bought it back each time he flipped. Champion, IMO. :D
