my 9014 is also in the 'breaking in' period..

it's soft but somehow, my arch still felt uncmft(machiam turning into a blister those pain) aft a long day's wear ;)

I can understand ...my foot is full of scars after all these years of boots breakin liao... be aware that the Roccia sole of the beckman series will crack fairly easily after sometimes..Probably due to the sole material and thiness..

Hmmm, PLal is stopping their C& J business. Sad.... Guess I should make a trip up there sometime soon to try the shoes on in person. Wonder if they'll give a discount for cash payment. :lol: :lol:

And on shoes cracking, I feel you fireal. A pair of Jordan's, which I use roughly once per 1/2 months cracked for no reason. Even more scared now to try on the 2 pairs I bought and stored because these were so comfortable to wear. Hate Singapore heat and humidity. :|

I visited their store and wasn't impressed.

As a lover of fine leather shoes, handcrafted products and leather in general - I find their offering very lackluster.

The designs and prices are rather outlandish and I believe that you can get better for your money.

Most of their shoes are cemented and only the higher tiered range is Goodyear welted.

However, the service was good. Perhaps you should drop by their boutique to take a look and judge for yourself.

As always, this is my personal opinion and your mileage may vary. ;)

I have been using Obenauf LP for quite a few years already, here's my take.

- Very effective for keeping your leather in good shape

- Effective for waterproofing

- Use sparingly, a little goes a long way. I use the LP every 3-4 months.

- A few thin coats is better than one thick coat

- Use your finger to apply as the heat generated helps the leather absorb the LP better

- Let it air dry

- May darken some leathers so try it a little on the heel or something first

- One tub can last a lifetime because all you really need for each application is just a tiny bit
