Nope, I mentioned that the date wheel is only in German. No Ger/Eng dual wheel.

Nope, UHR doesn't have the option. That why I was considering it before... anyway it is a german brand, let it have some German Characteristics.

Finally, got some time to sit down and open up the package.



Very no-frill packaging with a warranty card and a simple piece of instruction.



The watch feels very heavy and solid, nice screw down crown and screw down pushers. When the screw down pushers are unlock, the pushers become completely black as it would be covered by the black screw portion.



Wear like a 44-45mm, very thick and very high. Super heavy as well. There is a small diver's extension at the clasp as well. Fully brushed finishing. German day wheel. The lume is not fantastic like the Seiko Prosper Marine series.



The crown was a bit disappoint as it is hard to feel where it is in zero pull, first pull or second pull. As the crown unscrews, it doesn't have any free play, that means you cannot hand wind this piece, as you try to handwind, the crown will screw back and lock. As most of the 7750, the rotor is very smooth, can hear that it is spinning a bit more after you stop to shake the watch.



Very valued for money at about S$850 total.

Either a design flaw or a deliberate design. Can feel the ratchet for the spring moving as the crown screws in.

Doesn't affect me since Roo Kor Kor say ETA cannot handwind too much. Anyway the rotor is pretty smooth, so I doubt I would rely on the handwind, no Power Reserve gauge so no kick to hand wind this piece.

handwinding is quite smooth too



but PR dun tink is very long iirc, i remember my previous O&W 7750 doesn't run more than 2 days str8.

In average, as a reference, most 7750 are rated as 42hrs pwrrsv officially, but majority managed to beat that figure by another 4~6hrs more. In some modified 7750, they could even hit the 50hrs mark... that's what i saw from the discussions @ WUS.

I've not encountered that part yet... as the UHR-261 is my first auto-chrono without screw-down crown. Handwinding wise, quite smooth, but can hear the "gear winding" sound when place near to the ear.

First thing first... diah tio ehh!!! @ dis price, it really beats the other big names in terms of built quality as well as trust worthy value on movement used. When in SG can you find a 100m DIVER AUTO CHRONO with Valjoux7750 priced below SGD900 in this island?



Next... on the screw release crown for hand winding.

I believe it's probably that the crown had been in screw down position for a certain time, hence after this while, the spring under the crown gets too seasoned, hence losses its bouncing nature liaoz... This had also happened to my STEINHART Ocean One Green, as well as my SANDOZ "Yatchmaster" blue n MOP. I managed to un-screw, but then find myself screw-in back again without knowing that the crown had totally left away from the screw thread.
