But the 200m titanium is much more impressive.
Talk to the manager, and he said that spring drive parts were be kept for a minimum of 40 years, but of course, I take it with a pinch of salt ....

Both are big watch !
But the 200m titanium is much more impressive.

could not find the types I am interested in
I asked to see their range of quartz watches that have perpetual calendar... A guy showed me to a case and pointed out about 10 pieces that have perpetual calendar. But all of them were quite similar, roman numeral markers, and day/date/month/mod-4-year indicators via subdials instead of via window-wheel. The designs were too busy and old-fashioned for me.
(I am looking for day and date by window-wheel. No need month and year displays.)
I also asked if they had analog + LCD, similar to Casio, Citizen Atessa ATV, Breitling. They said don't have.
Then I asked about the EPD (e-paper) watches. They said "uh... don't have", they only brought in and sold 4 pieces a few years ago, and do not plan to sell them any more.

I saw a lot of EPD seikos in europe, in the major chains like selfridges type. Got discount some more, and after tax refund shy of S$1k. The display is really nice, almost like kindle.

Disappointed that Seiko isn't putting perpetual calendar isn't put into more minimalist designs.
All are roman numerals...
