Not tactic, it is a serious question I asked in the forum before. I want to buy an SD600, but want to find out how the second timezone function works on the SD600, and whether it is the same as the rolex 3186/5 movement.

I had ans your question back then.... the second time zone work the same as the rolex 3186/5.... but both are different mechanical all together! Paiseh.... my bad joke! :oops: :oops:

I finally got to see the Grand Seiko Snowflake in the flesh. DAMN SWEE. price also --> $10,810! :o



overall quite disappointed w the so-called exhibition.

not many watches to see since most of us already knows Seiko's history.

I just got back from vivo Seiko Road Show Exhibition . met the usual powerhouse bros (yeoman,badern) and was there with CEO and John bro... :)



Though it is a small showcase as mentioned but for a vintage watch collector like me,I do appreciate this opportunity to be able to see some rare vintage Seiko (GS,Laurel,Astron quartz,TV watch etc) too bad they didnt loan the vintage/discontinued diver series,chronographs(esp 5718 one button chrono) from their Japan Museum. :?



The modern watches there did not interest me as much as those displayed vintage GS... wondered why last time I sold my GS ..:cry:

It is a keeper. After you play with the handwind and see how the PR charge up... and the lume and size... Totally sold, the only bad point is that it is light cos of the Ti casing compare to mm300 SS casing and it is not a GS class.



Order from Higuchi, should be around 6K.
