No need to be tactful lah, if you are tactful the only person you protect is the fake shite seller leh.....

Till now,I dont and cant condemn and labelled any seller in CSC as 'fake watch peddler' as among their stuffs,there ought to be good ones,whether beater,not running etc but still original. Just the percentage of fakes/frakens varies with each seller.

so if i am not tactful means I kinda accuse them,which i dont want also.. I knw these guys also and none of them actually knw much about Seiko... you try asking them slightly more in depth questions,they also dont know.. (like us,nt possible to knw each brand/variants as we pay more close

attention to watches we actually wear nia)

I am out of this discussion ..

It's the same across all brands and series of vintage collection. There are fakes.

There are people out there willing to produce a dial for a Russian sturmanskie to sell for USD79, so watches with higher value won't escape their eyes too.

If they can create a dial to sell a watch at less than $100, they will definitely do the same for watches even like Seiko.

So please don't assume there's no fake for affordable watches :)

As long there's money at stake, they will do anything.

still hunting for these to more or less complete my 6138 family ;)

6138-0030 aka Big Blue

6138-3002 aka Jumbo (used to have 2, frigging big case but flipped both...now hunting for one again) but this time, I hope to find this midnight blue dial variant, not the solid black dial variant

6138-8039 (used to have this as well but finds it too small for my liking. This is the smallest chrono in the 6138 family)
