may i ask a noob question...
Beside monitoring/reading the surrounding air temperature,
can the built-in thermometer of the watch measure the body temperature like fever,
unless it has an infrared thermometer.
what model that has this function ?

I don't think measuring body temperature will be accurate. For my own pieces (g-shocks, protreks), the body only increases the detected temperature over ambient temp by a few degrees.
I remember casio had in infrared thermometer watch, but I think is is a discon old-school model. Oosimm used to collect retro casios, he may be able to shed some light.

This was a collab model, but it had unique bezel/buttons colourway, and I believe purple straps are also unique to this model. I think it was launched in 09 or late 08, and officially it should be discontinued, with a limited run as with collabs. It is still available in shops in HK and locally at least Superchrono (at Sim Lim Sq) still has it. But the prices are very WAAAAAHHHH!!!!!... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Yup mine is JDM model GW-3000G-1AJF . I got it from seiya, after it became available on the web.
petrolnut has the non-atomic version. JDM model is atomic + TOUGH movement. It is a awesome watch.
Now i am waiting for the ARMY JDM G-Shock series due in November release.

ya... the compass display goes blank after 20s... i suppose its meant to preserve its batt? im still figuring out its full functions though..
