I got mine at $375 for the Red 6900. The yen launch price is about 18K yen. One of my most expensive G, all for the customisation.

i vote final frog. The mirb frog display is a weakish pink, very hard to view even though it is positive display.

really? actually i am concerned about the colour of the letterings on the final frog which may wear off over time.. whereas the mirb fro, well its all black... hahah.. and i read tat the pinkish display is onli under certain lighting..

this chinese word is the same as my chinese name(last word). There are at least 7 other variants that I know of & I was lucky to find one with the same word as my chinese name :D

* i think you're referring to the part that is 'sticking' out at the far end rite? that's the tail, it's supposed to tucked under the buckle but I left it as it is..maybe dats why u tot is ruin? :mrgreen:

haha paisei, i abit noob, as i onli saw the beast in a pic once on wus, but cant recall how the actual strap looks like, thot the whitish colour part was due to discolouration sia... :lol: :lol:

hmm... what functions r u looking at?

the tide graph is good if u r a sea going person... shows u high and low tide.



the display can be difficult to see cos of the colour

actually when I was collecting casios and had a few atomic G Shocks ,I have heard of few successful sync in SGP...

Yes, it's been done! Bloody finally! After almost 14-days sitting on a window sill of a residential building 12-storeys high facing NNE in Ang Mo Kio; for the locals here. I had one set to Tokyo and the other to Taipei. The one set to Taipei synch'd at 0200 hrs last night in apparently ideal weather conditions.



But the consistency and reliability of it synch-ing, considering the terrain and distance is just too much effort & hassle. And I don't even bloody live in the apartment in which those watches were set-up!

Placed the watch near window the same evening I received it and it got auto sync within 2 minutes!! (I assume the first sync is at 12mn?). Hope this will tempt more owners from Singapore to get the multi-band models..

Oh, and one more thing, these watches are kinda shy. If you constanly look at it while getting a signal, it will not work. You have to look away and pretend you're not interested and then you'll be greeted by a "beep". and "GET!". ;-p



p.s. oh, setting was HKG and it was on manual receive.

I tried to...almost but still didnt get a sync.... (I tried only at my hse on 3rd floor HDB @ west side with towering buidlings all ard so expected the results)

oh... i live west side too.. think kitchen area shld be facing the proper direction with almost no interference.. too bad, no watches to sync.. lol.. :lol:
