Hi guys,

I too have been looking at some of the brands and took me a while to decide.

Like CEO, was scouring the forums for 2nd hand Enzo Mechana EM 001 or the EMV 001, but found nothing.

Finally got it locally but cost me quite a bit, but no regrets, as its a big and fantastic watch.

All the models havew been discontinued.

i have difficulty taking 5 watches with one hand w/ fearing of scratching the cases & had to place the watches in postition for a 10sec countdown shot, i was sweating sia :lol: :lol:

Didn't know that STEINHART is a micro brand wor... I thought 60% of watch collectors know about this brand?(Quite a big exposure to big numbers of collectors right?)

A bit OT... seeing this amphibia reminds me of this model called "Seaman", and that led to the recall of another model called "Seahum". Seaman sounds like semen and seahum sounds like cockles. :|

A microbrand is a small-scale brand recognized only in a certain geographic location or by consumers in a specific micromarket or niche market(from wikipedia)



hence to say, that particular brand is consider to be part of a smaller scale company,probably due to recent involvement in watchmaking,lesser capacity in manpower/machine/capital. But with popularity of online forums,these microbrands wouldnt be recognized only in certain area but rather worldwide...
