This Offical Omega Thread does not constraint to only speedy or moonwatch but dedicate to Omega owner to post their hoot or post question to ask... ;)

Depends on which type of chrono. For yours, you can if you want. If you don't want, also no problem. No difference, as this is not a vintage 6138/9. For the other 1861/861 types, probably should not leave running. Same goes for the valjoux 775X variants.

The strap will be a pain to source as it is not mounted in the typical way...



Very nice...but i not a expert in omega to tell if the dial,hands and case has been refinished...



Very minty to me though for a 40 plus years old watch!

Yup 1970s watch, vintage model. Reconditioned dial. Strap is aftermath. My friend selling.

Wonder if it still tick accurately and the maintance cost. Is this movement know to be reliable?

How much it worth?

the strap is mounted in a very special way...as in it is mounted under the back case...u need a special tool to change strap...



As for the time keeping and servicing cost can always head to K2 or JW for a service quotation.



For me, i prefer original dial,hands and case unpolished...personal perference as i love old and crusty watches..hahaha....

My girlfriend sent me the same pix. I found the price range is around 5k SGD if i remember correctly. Too much for my budget....sigh...maybe seeking a cheaper alternatives....
