there is one FS now at sg-roc... i have the SARB023 (white dial version).



the angles on the cases are much more WOW in the flesh, pictures dont do it justice imho.

I kinda like the angular shape of the case, reminds me of a submariner. Love the brushed case polish bezel too. ;)

i was beoing sarb models on chinos, quite confused with what justifies the price differences. i know some sarbs are 40mm and some are 37mm but just normal plain SS white dial + metal indices with bracelet already a few pattern. main difference i notice is some got lume some no lume at all and bracelet maybe design change a bit but difference up to 100usd!!

went to k2 for a while, met 3 regulars there, saw a few nice watches, some FS, one was already reserved, one belonged to a regular



4S12 GMT,belonged to a regular. WELLY NAISE!













Discon Sinn 103 FS,val7750, goh used a 3rd party bracelet for it. This model only comes in strap. This is a nice piece, my favourite among all 103s variants.













This 1000m Sector was reserved by another regular, never seen this model before. Nice unique 'blocky' look & it was quitee thick & chunky, nice bracelet too...and oh..it's titanium!!





















Lastly this is oso FS, this is a real nice piece from hamilton, the new Khaki Automatic, nice nice & design. The seller had bought a black Date whell & goh helped him swapped. original was a white Date Wheel. I was so seriously tempted in hooting this sia...but...control...

this reply is probably a little late, but i was also in the same shoes as you.



i had my mind set on hooting the SARB035 for the longest time (you can ask CEO and manyzer banana... :oops: ) and could not see the price difference between this and the SARB023/21.



BUT... when i saw them both side by side, the SARB023 REALLY stand out!

some differences that convinced me on the SARB023:

1. the case angles is very nicely finished, has sleek crown guards which flows with the whole case design,

2. the white dial (although can not see in pictures) is very ceramic-like (not like a flat white, but a little 'translucent' and has some depth to it... hard to explain). same goes for the black SARB021 - it is a very deep black, like a black hole.

3. The indicies has groove marks on it and is quite a nice detail.

4. the SARB021/23 has no 'plastic' looking chapter ring like the SARB033/35 so the dial somehow looks more refined and bigger.

5. ofcourse, as you said, SARB023/21 has no lume (which i think is great for a dress watch) and at 38mm is a perfect size. but it wears bigger.



here is my SARB023 on a kevlar to make it sportier.

i try to capture the true dial color, but you really have to see it in the flesh.







imho, i think overall the 100usd is justified, for the SARB021/23. but if you prefer the more traditional design, then save the 100usd and go for the SARB033/35. ;)

decided to drop by K2 this afternoon and Goh still dun have the snzh57 in stock yet :(



will have to keep waiting.



i did see he got one US milemarker FS :D

the bracelet is sized to fit just larger than 6.5" and i dunno if he has extra links.

solid watch. prep calendar. GMT hand with independant hr hand. good size too (about 42mm w/o crowns... i think). WR200 with screw-down crown.

ah thats a strong contender, almost like poor man's spring-drive and more accurate @ +-10/year vs 8F's +-20/year



but then they lack perpetual calendar, which i feel is a critical factor that makes people jump from mech watch back to quartz ;)



quartz still have to deal with 30 31 28 is jin dulan lol
