Hmmm..... GS,this masterpiece is one hell of craftsmanship . But the price to own one is damm ex... And to flip also difficult. So IMHO this watch is a keeper instead a flipper!!!

Nice pickup! How much was it? Only see US$3k up online, and never in SG...

There's only one model.





SBGA031 and there's a SS version.



The other sporty one is the one in my first post.

If to get a GS, I would get a mechanical one. 9s85 or 9s86.

That's the problem, there's very limited GS models, mostly dressy type. :lol:

Yah the second hand is gold and according to the owner is original seiko, and not easy to find in itself... He told me the model it came from but my cantonese CMI.

No, didn't, the owner offered a swap but I thot the stoplight one looks nicer.



I also almost bought a used SD600 and used FM. I didn't buy the SD600 because the local boys (uncles mostly) told me that servicing might be lengthy cos have to send back japan. Btw the price of brand new SD600 is HKD36000, after discount HKD30000. From citychain's seiko boutique.



I passed on the FM because it is rather small, light (titanium), and combined with the display caseback, feels a bit like Seiko5. Also, the screw-down pushers lock position is to unscrew... Screwing down actually unlocks. Strange.
