Still not sure if I'm gonna keep both yet.... Very tempted though...

Btw, is the bezel of my 043 not aligned properly?

(can see it's a little mis- aligned from the pic?)



Anyway to tell if it's the dial or bezel that's mis-aligned?

best solution: if she still thinks they look similar, trade the 007 for a 009! like that confirm can see difference liao :lol:



i think its the bezel.. it needs to be shifted just a little bit more to the right (clockwise) but must turn 1 whole round first la haha

Tried rotating the bezel but it doesnt seems to be able to aligned nicely to the 12o'clock marking.

Anyway to fix this?

Yeah, suggest to wear it for a couple of days see if wife notices. As long as same color face, size agar agar the same, she don't really notice they are difference :lol:

Could it be the chapter ring is slightly misaligned? If you look at the watch, does the bezel or chapter ring look misaligned?

You're right, it probably the chapter ring that's slightly off. Well.. I'll just leave it as it is for now... This is the last piece in the shop I got from...

If it's chapter ring, not difficult to fix, just take out the movement and shift the chapter ring slightly.

Did it come with Thong Sia warranty?

If it did, then u might as well exercise your warranty rights.

I had the chapter ring issue when I bought my first auto Seiko (skx031).

Anyway "hi! I'm new here", will be getting the SRP043 tomorrow and OM maybe in Dec. Seriously looking at the Di-Modell Chronissimo strap but it seems quite costly at S$150 w/ shipping. Anyone got lobang to get the Chronissimo strap locally?

Don't have lobang, my company giving award to long-serving staff but only for City Chain outlets (ya I know their prices sucks big time).



Was quoted $560 for the SRP043 w/ SS bracelet. Skywatches selling much cheaper at $400+. Too bad my company restricts only to CC outlets if not I would have gotten the MM300 from e-bay :roll:

eh seiko ppl normally heck one until they start noticing rotor sound funny or watch start to run too fast/slow



3-5 years go overhaul ba... provided you still holding onto the same watch :lol:



if can tahan just leave the chapter ring issue till next servicing lol. mine also dunno chapter ring, bezel or dial not align, trying not to stare too hard :|

Sorry mate I bought the last piece from CC. They only have 1 piece left when I called them last week. You can try calling any outlets (check their website for phone numbers) and the store manager will try to locate the watch for you.
