Giving Life To A Seiko-5

I abandoned my Seiko-5 (6009-6001) after completed my reservist.





Thinking to give a new lease of life so a hunt begins.

There were scratches on the glass and it was replaced.



Luck was on me and found a after market dial from Thailand.





Order a set of hands from yobokies.





The hour and minute hands seem a bit broad for the small dial face.

The second hand needs to cut off 1mm from the tip which seems a bit long.

So have to abandon the hands, will keep for future use.



The maroon dial was finally replaced and a new F1 paros watch strap.

I did considered the Thai nuneric dial but it the end I go for the normal dial. :D
