Seiko H558 Arnie plastic shrouds

Someone has produced replacement plastic shrouds for the H558 Arnie.They look like a perfect reproduction.After all these years a plastic replacement shroud is now available on Ebay,amazing.The chunky metal replacements have been around a long time but I was not tempted.Anybody already buy one of these new plastic ones?

I am a new member and a modest Seiko collector - mainly Divers.

I dun think many of us here owns a H558 Arnie but it's good to know that parts are available, especially the plastic shroud 8-)

no worries, we are not as strict as overseas forum, this is a place to just relax & share good lobangs with other seiko lovers in spore :)

If I am to chose between a remake plastic or metal PVD shroud,I go for the metal one cos the feel would be like a 'tuna' with metal shroud and no worries that the area between the shroud screws will break. Have tried the metal piece on my ex-h601 before,works and look very nice..also metal one can be with you for long time without breaking unlike the plastic one which may have some stress point. But good for collector looking for similar plastic shroud.
