SEIKO fieldmaster, to hoot or not to hoot?
When I first saw the Fieldmaster from the internet, it didn't really appeal to me due to the compass bezel design which looks damn busy to me. Last Yr, I was offered fr an infamous flipper at a very good price, but i rejected without viewing. If i am not wrong, this model is very 冷门. (Astroboy, how to translat 冷门 in English huh?) It did not create much impact in the local market unlike tuna SBBN007. Dunno why...after seeing the SBDC013 in person... the more I look at it, the more it grows on me. IMHO, it is a well made time piece. Not so ugly as i thought in the past. Now...I am standing at a crossroad and can't decide which one to get? :oops:



To Hoot the Fieldmaster SBDC011 or SBDC013?? Or better don't hoot?







All input, thoughts, comments are greatly appreciated.

(pls dun tell me to buy both bcos Siao Lian Astroboy said i have age liao, got wife and kids to feed, cannot luan luan hoot) :lol:

Personally i won't, saw the LE version at Big Time, my colleague was like drooling, to me nothing special, no offence :oops:

many times i FHTL....this is one seiko model makes me think damn long (like Ai ah mai).....decided to post here to seek the opinion. ;)

I will opt for SS version, as I don't fancy PVD watches after owning 1 for a short while.

I love these shrouded field masters, and hope to pick either one up used. I am slightly inclined towards the non-PVD though, but I've handled the PVD before and was quite satisfied that it isn't glossy like how some Seiko can be...
