Really went crazy last and this week...



Excited about my BB, a new job.... and everything else in life seems so wonderful.



In a short span of 2 weeks, I hoot 4 watches, 2 arrived, 2 on the way from Ukraine (Russians).



First hoot, you all have seen, the Doxa 750T GMT Divingstar, I bought this as a present for a new set of challenges in work and in life with my BB Zoey :D



Second hoot, I thought after Doxa, no more, this Sandoz Typhoon 1000m monobloc dive watch came up in WUS, a piece that I have been hunting for a while since I discovered there's a dispute between Jenny and Sandoz on the first 1000M watch. Apparently, Sandoz was the first watch company to develop a monobloc watch case that could meet the water resistance of 1000m.

It's a rare find plus the condition is very mint and the price is reasonable for that condition.



Well, enough talk, here are the pictures, pardon the iPhone quality, as I don't have a proper setup at my in-laws. ;)

What attracted me, apart from the monobloc case is the crystal ! Super dome !



I hope to take more photos with my camera soon and will update the thread again with my other 2 Russians.. they are also iconic diver watches in Russian horology :lol:

Sadly, the dial is most probably a re-dial :( The hands look fishy too.

Thanks thanks... the Russians are affordable hoots one la....... when I hoot Doxa, I didn't expect to hoot more liao, except the 2 Russians that I'm watching on ePrey.



Then Sandoz pop up, when you see grails that appear like that, mai hoot.. next time regret deep deep. Like got a chance to hoot a Tag Heuer Super Professional 1000M with box and papers.. sigh.

Exactly, the case condition is great, crystal has tiny scratches.. which is a good thing, means all not polished before.. except the dial.



I was very wary about it but decided to hoot as it's really a rare piece and it complements my collection..

ya as for the overall condition of this sandoz typhoon,it does look better than I imagine intially.. n its not easy to find an untouched dial for such old watch.. so a good hoot for you.. :D

The doxa is really very unique. Love the gmt hand clicking every hour. Made me went to surf doxa site just now. Really ish must control.
