[Interest Check] A 2016 Gathering at Thong Sia Singapore

Hi guys, I am in the midst of communicating with a Thong Sia personnel (stupidbear's friend and she is the one who has been giving these Seiko angpow packets for us :D Thanks Caylee!), to see if we can hold a watch gathering in Thong Sia's office.

She mentioned the current office space is not as big as the old Thong Sia (which was at Bideford Road) but it can still accomodate around 30pax.

One minor issue is, Thong Sia operates only on weekdays and hence the gathering (if it happen) will most likely falls on a weekday. Timewise, it's still not firmed up yet.

Meanwhile I am just trying to see how many of you will be keen to attend this gathering. I know it's a bit difficult on a weekday but if it doesn't work out then we can organise one on a weekend.

Submit your names here if you are interested

try my best to come :)

Thanks CEO for the effort. I am interested to the gathering. Count me in !! thanks !

I will check with thong sia again and will update here.

One of my longest serving Seiko, bought in the 90's at Thong Sia when they were operating at Bideford Rd. My office is 2 building away and my company would regularly buy Seikos from TS for long service staff. I would tag along and buy it at 40% discount (if I remember correctly). Pity at that time I wasn't collecting watches yet. Bought a few over the years and this is the only survivor. Don't wear this much nowadays, time for her to take it easy.

Test posting photo from FB.

Just revisiting this opportunity; any updates CEO? Or passed already?
