Need help with 7N36-6A20

Need help with 7N36-6A20
I saw a NOS Seiko Quartz 200M diver, two-tone, on bracelet. It has date only, no day. Dial is dark blue, and seemed to be either textured or pimpled from age. Crystal is sapphlex.

The case back states 7N36-6A20, and it has the battery change markings like on a quartz tuna.

I cannot find the exact pics on the Internet, and wonder if this is hoot-able. The price tag says $499 iirc. Shop not very friendly, so didn't snap any pic.

Anyone owns this?

Experts please help!
Re: Need help with 7N36-6A20
bro tot 7n36 is both date n day movt. unless modded else seiko will use date only movt on the quartz diver you mentioned.

one of the model in net I saw and only date+day just for nw.

Re: Need help with 7N36-6A20
Bro yes, think something like this. Ya maybe got day also. But half gold case and half gold bracelet.

What you think? Hoot-able? I'll have to bargain a bit man.

$499..unless aft % is about $200 then is hootable i feel.

$300+ is a bit too high liao even if it's aft %, 2 tone somemore, if u get tired of it, this will not be easy to sell oso ;)

consider carefully bro 8-)
Re: Need help with 7N36-6A20
i suggest u to store this fund & get a 7548 quartz..more VFM(Value For Money) :)
Re: Need help with 7N36-6A20
Roger that!!!
Re: Need help with 7N36-6A20
if it is this watch, think I was offered a decent piece before ard 180sgd but gave a pass(1.5 yrs ago)

should he having date+day AFAIK. Its rather common calibre as 7n36 is alo used in general cheaper seiko quartz.

I find 7N36 life span and durability not so good, might as well get 7548,7546,7c43 better.

But if its decent piece diver with original bracelet ,its hootable but price is unfriendly. I might do so if its 150SGD.

7N36 nt easy to let go also..

bro 7n36 alone is nt easy to let go. sawtooth depends solely on its design,'shroud'/dial, and collectiblity.

just because of that ppl dont mind its a 7n36 sawtooth. If you put this movt in any other common look diver,it will nt sell well like 7548 etc right?

And they been making 7n36 for long time. When you open a new sawtooth movt and open up a neo vintage or older version 7n36 diver, you will notice the movt nt so nice as compare to later version.

I quite like it also. The indices on the one I saw has chrome or gold surrounds like skx171. Day date wheels matches the dark dial colour. No cyclops, gold crown gold bezel, gold middle links. The bezel is eccentrically shaped, not a perfect circle.
Re: Need help with 7N36-6A20
 Hoot Liao

As luck would have it, my entire village went there for dinner, so I had another peek at this piece.

It is a bit different from the pic glenn posted. The bracelet is same except two-tone, the dial is a spiderweb blue dial - very pretty and plays well with light, there is no cyclops over the day date, there is no quartz wording, the gold diver 200m and Seiko wordings are very inconspicuous on the dial, the indices have gold surrounds, the hands have gold surrounds, the crown is gold, the bezel has gold sides but steel face. The battery etchings on the case back starts from 99, and last battery replacement done by Thong Sia two months back (yes this is a Thong Sia set).

It is always easy for me to walk away from easily available pieces, because you know they'll still be there when you want them. I reasoned that I don't have a Seiko two-tone quartz diver 200m, so I better get it while I can
