What's the "oldest" time piece you own...
Some of us are flippers, some hold on to what they buy for a long time (that's me).



I like to see what are some examples of there that you have been holding onto for a long time. Desnt need to be vintage pieces, but it t should be something you have owned for a long time.

Hi Bro nutty, for me it is my first ever diver I bought in 1988 from my 1st salary: the 6309-7290.

But my oldest watch in my collection is the Seiko Champion from 1963



but I got her just a couple of years ago if I remember correctly. So that doesn't count right? [emoji1]

This last one belonged to my grandfather which was in turn passed on to me by my dad in the late 80's, 1988 or 1989 I think.

How old is this watch? Your guess is as good as mine! [emoji1]



Oh and that nasty scratch on the crystal at 12 o'clock? That's all me, a long, long time ago! [emoji12]

Good morning Bro! Sad to say they were scratched! What to do? I was young then and didn't really cared. For now no intention to fix them crystals as they just rest on my watch cabinet and I just take them out on very rare occassions. I'm ok with them. Cheers!

You are right Bro! I will give the Titus some thought. I am planning to bring her to Mr. Goh of K2. While on it maybe I have him check the engine after changing the crystal. That is if he accepts the job. We see how. [emoji4] [emoji106]

Thx blokes.

This piece is not mechanical. Throughout the years of ownership till today, i still wear it. But very often i would tend to forgotten about it as this is a quartz chronograph(dunno made by which Japanese company, but i guess it's Miyota), as per battery change can last up to 2yrs(depending on how often i "excercise" the movement), and due to no true moonphase, no date... Hence there will be some period that this piece will get a very loooong break... just because i didn't get the battery changed.



Hmmm... now i recall... this piece got it's battery changed roughly 4 times!





This is also one another piece i acquired some 20+ yrs... this was after my ROD, with my first job, first gal... way before i started my SWATCH Craze.

This is my longest serving watch, bght in the late 90's (I think). That time I was working in Crown Prince Hotel, which is next to TS. In fact I bght several watches from TS as it was just next door. Lunch time sometimes will be spend browsing their showcase. The others are all gone except for this.

Yeah, I agree with you that one of the problems working close to a watch AD is time spent (and money spent) on browsing....
