Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)

Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
She has a small wrist but doesn't shy away from big watch. Eg. 47mm Steinhart pilot, G shock etc.

Going to be a gift from her mum. Any recommendations?

Rolex out of range?

Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
Oris Carlos Coste 2000m Limited Edition?
Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
Less than 1k get this... wishes from mummy.

But also depend on the dialect group of ur gals family... if Canton, "give watch" doesn't sound auspicious.
Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
She did mentioned price range is around 3.5k.

Not superstitious. She prefer watches over necklace [emoji16] .

Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
3.5k just for daughter nia? 3.5k can probably get anything with moon phase? Like Oris Artelier? Or... Longines moon phase chrono?
Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
How about Federique Constant Slimline Moonphase, modern and elegant with manufacture movement to boot, can be had around 3,500 or slightly higher if you bargain.

LongInes master collection?

Looks nice!

Any good place that offer good discount?

Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
I think currently the only place that may offer better discount will be thru recommendations from fellow bros here who had patronized from them... ALL WATCHES. I previously had a contact there... but he left oredi.(The lady boss of ALL WATCHES dunno still remember me or not... hence the lost of lobang).

Just to clarify... i'm not referring to this hor...

 This huan will blow away the 3.5k budget definitely, plus you might need to "donate" to support final price ley...

This is much elegant than the much easy to service 7751 movement base moonphase chrono... especially with bracelet.

But for long term ownership and maintenance concern... go for 7751 better.

Talk about 7751 moonphase chrono... besides the elegant LONGINES MASTER COLLECTION,

from SWATCH family of brands... MIDO's ALL DIAL model is much better looking than the plain dial BARONCELLI design.

Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
I think I got the right one you are referring to. This one?

Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
Swee... this one by now, if not wrong under 4k can get?

You need to "donate" to "top up" though...
Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
Because CHF gone up?

Haha.. Let her mother worry about it.

My job is to provide poison only [emoji9]

Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
Encountered some OhMyGa listed in HJ's website... priced about 3.5k with little top up.

Thanks Ed for still continuing with ideas.

However want to clarify that is my colleague that is getting married and not me [emoji16]

Think preown will not be suitable.

She likes the Longines recommendation. Any other brand/model with similar style and price range?

Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
I often prefer the look of LONGINES MasterCollection Moonphase Chrono with the Arabic Number indices. Pair with the textured dial, it's a design that won't make one feel bored even after years of ownership.

However, yesterday when i was loitering around Bugis Junction...

This one from the Conquest range blows my perception away that LONGINES cannot make another hit to replace the MC Moonphase!

Now... dunno what's the price.
Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
This complicated watch sure blows most watches away. Is the price mind blowing as well?
Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
Judging on the price control by Swatch Group(mentioned to me last nite by a seller)... My possible guess the numbers will start with a 4, since this is a relatively new model. Unless it's MC, we may get to see a 3 in front.
Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
Personally prefer the blue hands.

Will pass this on to colleague for consideration.

The conquest is higher range than MC?

Was at a shop at vivo and quoted possible 20% off rrp. Roughly 3.8k range after discount.

Edit: Thanks Ed for continuing looking out and your tips.

Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
3.8? Leather strap one or bracelet one?

Personally i find that the bracelet is very well designed. I tried to source one from ebay so that i can try out on one of the UHR Chrono i owned... but cannot find one with proper lug size.

If 3.8k bracelet... hopefully can consider to bargain to bump off 5 blue bills less...

Conquest... i don't think is a higher range than MC ba... the designs are much too modern, less classic vibes.

The guy say leather and bracelet same price wor. Not sure got smoke me or not. Maybe leather strap no stock[emoji12]

Re: Ladies wedding watch (3.5k budget)
No diff??? Mai tu de liaoz!

The bracelet itself is quite costly if purchased separately. Leather strap can always hoot substitute like PAROS or other high-quality ones in the market. Bracelet not easy to source.

Last nite @ A.Watches... came across this...

Sized quite large. I think 40mm case diameter.

Price listed @ abt 3k. After discount... hmmm( i could have hooted this instead of the Jubilee Blossom with just a couple of red bills more  )... dunno still have extra for another watch boh...

Base on the price listing here...

http://www.watchdeal.de/Hersteller-von-A-bis-Z/Longines/?Hersteller-von-A-bis-Z=Longines&view_mode=tiled&listing_sort=price_asc&listing_count=48&cat=c23&cPath=82_23&page=3" false;

yeah... not much difference. So... hoot the bracelet one seems to be a better deal. The Conquest Moonphase Chrono also same price wor... :o
