Seiko day window showing IIII instead of roman IV

Hi i thought roman 4 is suppose to be IV but y is seiko watches showing IIII in the day window?

I believe Seiko is trying to use the "watchmaker 4" as in IIII rather than IV. :D

Yup i got the information from some fellow Seiko lovers too.



There are a lot of explanations but i think the balance VIII one would sounds logical.
