Hirsch Performance Strap

Hirsch Performance Strap
My great white bracelet though very solid and comfortable wore a little loose which I do not like? The lack of micro adjustment meant I could not achieve an optimal fit-remove the half link and it becomes too tight, put in the half link and it becomes too loose. So I bought a Hirsch Performance "Robby" strap in hopes of getting an optimal fit. Just couldn't stand the watch flopping around on my wrist in air con environment.

So far I am very impressed and thought I would share and recommend this Performance series from Hirsch.

Pros:

Sail cloth effect though it's coated leather upper. Looks "smart casual" and versatile.

Very soft with natural rubber core and under side.

Doesn't feel wet or sticky when I prespire.

Perforations allows air to circulate and strap doesn't feel hot on the wrist.

Brushed buckle matches the almost all brushed finish on my watch (for once).

Cons:

Expensive...

Tapers to 18mm, would have preferred no taper for more wrist presence.

Could have been just a little thicker.

Black with high contrast stitching and sides make an otherwise boring strap more interesting and the red matches the GMT and seconds hands well.

Brushed buckle, for once a buckle from Hirsch that I don't feel the urge to remove and replace.

Now my only concern is how durable or water resistant are these straps? Supposed to be water resistant to 300m, but really anyone else have experience showering or swimming in these? Will it destroy the strap?
