Hi bros,



Have always heard that seiko watches are very well made and value for money wise definitely a must have for all watch enthusiasts.



Started looking at seiko divers around a month ago. Joined all the seiko forums I could find and have also visited skywatches, k2 and big time.



Anyway below are my hoots so far. Bought 3 watches in a month! Skx007 as a daily beater for work. Both monster tunas for me and my wife as a Xmas present (it's been a tiring year).



Aiming for blumo and mm300 next. Think I have been severely poisoned! !!

Yes good advice Bro. I was so tempted to buy a bnib sumo I saw online but was sold to another guy just before I enquired about it. Was damn dui. ....then I realise that there are always people selling sumos online.



Now I decided to save up for a trip to Japan and buy it over there. Think its much cheaper in Japan.

Pardon me for saying, but those are not tunas thou, they are the new prospex monster models.

Pardon me for saying, but those are not tunas thou, they are the new prospex monster models.

Thanks bro. I think some are calling them monster tuna hybrids since they have the baby tuna shroud.



The new prospex monster models are sbdc023/025. Models above are srp6xx. Nevertheless, I may be mistaken, I'm still a newbie :P

Hey bro,

Humm.... I would categorised them within the shrouded divers category.

Indeed they are hybrids but a tuna is a tuna, and a monster is a monster, any other "improvements" just don't cut it. Whereas the mini tunas are touted as sardines. Just my 2cents :)

Think I might have jump the gun by calling them monster tunas. But I still think they classify as baby tunas or sardines.

I'm on the fence with this. Maybe Shielded Monster or something.. haha

The new shrouded monsters comes with Seiko Fat 2.5mm spring bars with 1.0mm tip end.



I will need help to know where can i buy normal spring bars with 1.0mm tip end so I can fit the milanese bracelet on the shrouded monster... :D

If you were at K2, try the watch shop on the ground floor; the shop that sells a lot of Orient watches. They got lots of spring bars, I bought from them once.

Yup, plan to ask him first before I proceed to the shop Chris recommended when I find time to go to K2. :D
