I don't have a 6105 to compare but from online pics i prefer the indices of the original. Having said that, the Typhoon is very nice on its own especially with the H-link bracelet.
The typhoon (thanks to chriscentro, for selling his LE version to me) is a thicker than the 6105.

But given the price of good condition 6105, getting the homage might be a good choice...at least no worries about durability and water resistance. But I guess it is a no no for purist.
