Help with fixing my vintage tuna

Help with fixing my vintage tuna
Hi I have Seiko 7549 vintage quartz Tuna. Its Missing a second hand and requires a new battery (at least) and a new glass. I live in the UK and I'm wondering where to get the parts and where to get it repaired. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Re: Help with fixing my vintage tuna
you might want to shoot an email to Rob from http://www.monsterwatches.eu" false;

he supplies genuine seiko parts and sometimes he does have NOS parts.

no guarantee, but you can try.

nice catch btw and welcome to the SG Seiko Club!
Re: Help with fixing my vintage tuna
I got a new crystal (glass) for 7549 from the local (SG) seiko agent last month .... luckily for me it was their last piece ...
Re: Help with fixing my vintage tuna
Thanks for the quick reply. The watch was my grandads so I don't know what happens to the second hand and I don't know what condition the movement is in. I would really like to get it back up to how it was when new as its a really nice watch. I will keep you posted!
Re: Help with fixing my vintage tuna
another alternative option is,

drop a 6309 movt into the 7548 case but you will need to purchase a new set of hands for it as the quartz hands do not fit once the movt is a 6309 :)

here's my 7548 with a 6309 movt

good luck!
