Galante Fire Review!

Galante Fire Review!
Hi everyone, I just finished our new Galante Fire review. You may already be familiar with Galante, Seiko's high-end avant garde brand (to put it lightly). The Fire is a totally insane watch and it's the first Galante spring drive Americans have ever seen--in fact it's the only one ever sold in America. Re: Galante Fire Review!
By far the most polarizing Seiko I have ever seen, it does not look like a Seiko at all!
Re: Galante Fire Review!
Nice picts and review of its details.

That dial and hands combo is really nice as a dresser, though I'm not entirely sure if they would be practical.

Yeah, it's about as far from a Grand Seiko as you can get in terms of looks...but the quality is up there, better than Ananta.
Re: Galante Fire Review!
Is the Galante range a class above Grand Seiko like the Credors, or it is positioned similar to Anantas, Premier...?
Re: Galante Fire Review!
Iirc, Galante is almost on par with Grand Seiko but target audience is different.

Galante targets more of the atas yuppies in Japan.
Re: Galante Fire Review!
Interesting design...my younger friends should now stop saying Seiko only makes "uncle" watches
Re: Galante Fire Review!
Looks like Corum.

I feel that Galante is probably above Ananta but below Grand Seiko, although some models can actually cost more than a similar Grand Seiko. Seiko is kind of strange in how they arrange their sub-brands because the super high-end stuff goes to Credor, but within Seiko, the lower priced GS is still the prize of the company.

I think that Galante, GS and Credor make up the triumvirate of high-end Seiko.

Love the watch. The very little details all add up to make this one awesome timepiece to look at again and again - each time discovering a little more about the design quirks.
