S.I.C: Local Strap Maker at A Friendly Price

Re: S.I.C: Local Strap Maker at A Friendly Price
Can anyone comment on the thickness of the straps and the price? I can't seem to find the info on the website
Re: S.I.C: Local Strap Maker at A Friendly Price
I will be able to do a 19mm to 18mm strap but with my buckles. Only have Pearl white and light brown threads at the moment. So i don't know if that's cool with you guys.

Double layer ~3.0mm

Triple layer ~4.5mm

Pricing have just been revised. $45 with registered mail (tracking)

Same price.

The distressing option is an add on service that I artificialy make the strap seem used, vintage, rugged.

It's not an option. It's an add on service if that's what you asking about.

Re: S.I.C: Local Strap Maker at A Friendly Price
Your distressed leather look cool. Wonder do you have black one?

If so, I need one in 20mm with dark blue stitches.

The black I currently have when distressed will seem matt and greyish.

Only have light brown and Pearl white stitching. Planning to increase the leather choices, not so much emphasis on the threads. Thanks.

Hey Marc... the strap looks chic... just the way my wife likes it. It this goes well, I'll be ordering more from you

Rcv the orange saffiano via postage ytd. Amazing quality and finishing. Mount it on the gruppo gamma for my wife to wear. Excellent fit and she said it was very comfortable to wear it.

Bonus: it came with additional spring bar. Thanks.

Marc, be prepared with an onslaught of orders from me.
Re: S.I.C: Local Strap Maker at A Friendly Price
Small comment, the hole for the spring bar is a little big, when put in tube, it is loose.

Anyway, the leather is soft and most important, very economical for a custom strap.

In theory yes. I will work on that.

It's always better to have abit more space in case someone just decided to use fat spring bars. Then if cannot fit in then they will come after me aye ?

Sent from my Potato[/quote]yes but the thickest spring bars are 2.5mm which is about the size of the panarei tube. So if using that is loose then it's abit big. So far the straps i use will fit 2.5mm snugly.

Might do as the forum watch strap

Dark shade of blue but natural light and strong lighting makes it less dull

Blue for Blumo ?

With different keeper?

Re: S.I.C: Local Strap Maker at A Friendly Price
Thanks Marc. I can't really differentiate the blue tone due to the lightings. I need something that really compliment the blumo blue. I also need the lug side to be really thick due to the far lug hole. Else it'll look unsightly like the follow pic
Re: S.I.C: Local Strap Maker at A Friendly Price
Sumo has very long lugs, need some padding at the lug end, then again you can't reuse the strap for another watch already.
Re: S.I.C: Local Strap Maker at A Friendly Price
The Blue is a very dark shade of blue and i dont have a sumo so i not sure how it will be.

regarding the far lug hole there shouldnt be a problem as my straps are not that thin at around that area. I've had an Orient Mako, also far lug end. \
