ok, here it is, now I worry whether I can fix it up properly :?:

Re: Zoids!
I had forgotten how complex these zoids were. That looks like many nights of work hahahaha!
Re: Zoids!
Looks awesome.
Re: Zoids!
awesome hoot!
Re: Zoids!
Chris! I am a zoids fan too, i still got the original iron kong, king G, deathsauer all mib
Re: Zoids!
Thanks guys and Stan I might need your advice on how to fix it up, seems complicated.

My only experience was one Gundam model. :o
Re: Zoids!
Follow the guide. It should start from the legs then hands then body

The only thing tricky shld be the body and led light on the head.

Follow the manual step by step, shld be fine.
Re: Zoids!
This one shld be a level 4 zoid difficulty. No problem, Chris. Layout the parts alphabetically, u will be able to piece them togother slowly.

Same idea as gundam or tamiya 4wds

and bro, can post pics of your Zoids?
Re: Zoids!
Okie. I will do it tonight. Lol
Re: Zoids!
Just saw a couple of Youtube videos, apparently the old versions were battery operated got lights and can even walk!

It's really cool looking at how joints articulation when it walked.
Re: Zoids!
I had the old version - can't remember its name but it was a t-rex and could really walk and shine lights.

It was awesome!
Re: Zoids!

Here are some of my zoids i currently having. Some are in the cupboards and too deep to dig.

A few limited editions and 2 assembled Madthunder and Gojulas Mariner.

So huge after i assemble, i realized i got no space to display all. So in the end, most are still MIB.

It is call Gojulas! Lol
Re: Zoids!
Thanks Stan. You mentioned "MIB" , what does it mean?

Nice collection you have there, the Gojulas that I saw the other day at Funan got me into Zoids, lol.

Yesterday at the shop at Sun Plaza, there was one last box of Gojulas but alas it was reserved. Anyway, my wife probably wouldn't let me hoot it cos it's more ex.
Re: Zoids!
Hi Chris,

MIB = Mint in Box

MISB = Mint in Sealed Box.

Nowadays Zoids are very rare and going at very high prices for these battery operated pieces.

During the 1980s, the first zoids are call OJR = Original Japan Release

During the 1990s and early 2000, the reissue zoids are call NJR = New Japan Release

The very new zoids in are high mobility and very well articulated to pose in many positions. of course the price is also much pricier.

I am looking to release most of my zoids and keeping a few I like. But too bad very few buyers in the market anymore.
Re: Zoids!
Stan, you are the man!

wah, I'm just so late to the party, haha...do you paint them?
Re: Zoids!
I sprayed 1 of them. Just like gundams. But i use tamiya matt paint spray. More uniform and oso the parts are too large to paint. Haha.
Re: Zoids!

This is the version I saw and I think this is not painted, original already so nice right?

This is the high mobility version, matt grey original color. very nice le, the one i posted is the original "rigid" version, limited edition, tats why blue color.

Sorry i am not able to dig out the zoid i sparypainted. If not i can post here for u.
Re: Zoids!
The original gojulas is without the 2 long cannons. You will have to buy the customized part, CP-10, to add the 2 cannons to the gojulas.

The limited edition comes with it.
Re: Zoids!
just completed the head, now for a little coffee break

Re: Zoids!

Re: Zoids!
U all reali sibeh the veri CAN...if give me,tnk sibeh fast i finish 20 hoon kees but nothin done...
Re: Zoids!
I'm freaking exhausted, spent the past 2 days assembly my Iron Kong.

I reckon it's about 95% complete, just need to re-do the head and glue some parts tight.

it feels so fragile, like it's gona break into pieces every time i touch it

Re: Zoids!
Superbly done Chris. Zoids by nature and design are quite fragile as the joints are held together by rubber caps. Hold the iron kong by the body or groin.

haha, was just telling my wife, I was holding it like a baby...

Btw, what kind of glue is suitable for sticking the parts together?
Re: Zoids!
I did used normal uhu glue as it is gentle on plastics. Then use plastic spoon to scrap off any excess.
Re: Zoids!
Avoid using plastic cement if you are not going to spray it. The coloured part where cement is apply will change color.

Thanks guys for the advice..didnt know that UHU glue is so "sticky". 8-)
Re: Zoids!
By right is to use putty and then sand away excess. Haha.

I not pro, just dun want my zoid to fall apart.
