It's not working out
I have been wearing my kinetic prospex Sun023 all weekend but it's not working out.



1) the second hand ticks instead of sweeping across the dial. It is abomination.



2) it has sporty funky colors (orange, light turquoise) which don't match my personality (corporate ah Pek )



If I keep it, I don't think it will get much wrist time. However if I sell it it's like a bit of a pity because I have a hunch this model will be a classic.



Any thoughts from the Bros here?

Seriously... I didn't know that a kinetic watch ticks. I just thought when you swing your arm, instead of powering the spring, it's powering up the battery instead.

Want a sweeping quartz can get Bulova Precisionist. Super cheap compared to a Spring Drive or Hi-Beat. 8-)

Dropped by Seiko Boutique at Vivocity the other day as was in the area.



They had the limited edition SBGJ005. Absolutley gorgeous watch.





But as always... "sticker shock"! Its a little over SG$10k at MSRP !!!

But I have to give the thumbs up to the sales lady there. She knows her GS watches and their prices like the back of her hand. I was looking for the white dialed one, and couldn't spot it, and completely missed the limited edition one.

She was quick to point it to me and tell me its listed price tag !
