New guy with burning questions.
Hi guys. i just bought my new seiko a few hours ago from mustafa (export set section with no warranty). and i have a few burning questions that i hope you guys can help me with!

From what info i found online with google, i realised that the back of my "new" watch has the serial number 7S36-04C0, 0D0151.

From this website : http://www.csce.uark.edu/~jgauch/photos/seiko/"SNZJ5" for example?

Please enlighten me people! thanks!

Too bad i cant figure out how to post a image of my watch!

So i stole a picture of the same watch online, here it is!

Based on the serial it does look like a year 2000 December piece or 2010 December piece. U might want to find out the model number of this watch so as to have a clue when it was launched into the market? I am more inclined to go with 2010...

I don't think you have been cheated. I would be glad if I am able to find a new old stock 1970s or 1980s Seiko at Mustafa.

1) How do i know what width i should be looking for?

2) Where is a good place to buy straps?

SNZJ5 for example is just the model no of the watch, 7S36-04C0 is the movement no and 0D0151 is the serial no.



I believe when you buy the watch is should come with receipt or tag and they shld have the model no written on it.
