latest render

Justin did 4 colour options

Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
1st and 2nd the same or 1 blue 1 black?
Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
anyway will prefer the black with orange.
Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
first three are blue, last is black
Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
The 2nd one look better imho. Lime lume is always brighter than orange lume.
Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
Revise rendering, thicker bezel/hour markers.

Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
Is the dome bubble or flat?

Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***

Revise rendering, thicker bezel/hour markers.

All 3 look good, nice to see the blue and yellow
Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
Prefer the second and third one left to right. Maybe can remove automatic and just put depth rating in metres and feet?
Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
latest revision.

- 'AUTOMATIC' word omitted, replaced with a one-liner '200m/656ft'

- secondhand lume will be changed back to white, Justin told me there will be additional cost if we are to use orange lume on only secondhand.

I had requested the outline around the date window to be in orange instead of white.

I will post up the revised render once he emails me.
Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
latest revision as of 3rd Oct.

Outline around date window to orange.

Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***

Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
Update.

vs

- white date window

Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
I'm just curios is it possible if i flip the entire dial arounf to make it 3pm crown? Looks like can but i'm not sure internally is there a difference.
Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
Depending on the movement, dials usually have dial feet that's inserted to the movement, so if you flip it, the feet will not be in the same position, unless it's modified ? Like removing and attaching it manually to the movement.

Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
Destro cool!
Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
Yeah destro and 9015 was what made me for for this
Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
latest update.

Decided to use back the original min/sec markers instead.

as compared to the previous render

Feels more 'balanced' as a whole.
Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
I'm amazed there's no discussion on the date window at 6pm. I personally thought that dates were a pain in the ass to adjust every end of the month.

for a miyota 9015 movement is a waste not to have a date function

Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
Dun you think excluding the min/sec markers, the dial looks cleaner.

Somehow the balanced look unbalance to me...but that is just me. No big issue.
Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***

Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***

Actually just min markers enough liao

initially had the full min markers then changed to simple min markers

but after changing to simpler markers...somehow...it doesn't looked right, hence asked justin to swithc back to original min markers

Justin was also suggesting the simpler min marker style doesn't quite match the dial.

So you guys prefer simple or full min markers?

As long got minute marker I am fine.
Re: *** Seiko Club Project Watch 2015 - Rendered Artwork ***
The full min marker looks nicer....my 2 cents.

Bro. Pls don't start.

Lunarin already mentioned the case is the Orbis Morgan case fm one of their models.

No changes to casework for now. To keep the cost low as possible.

I suggested a 2 o'clock crown a couple of weeks back and wasn't considered too, but I'm in agreement with the masses: keeping the design within budget. :)
