Thoughts on SKX013?

Hi pals, as you may have seen from the Seiko Daily Wearer thread which I posted in the other forum, I have been looking for another Seiko diver watch that may fit the bill of 'daily wearer' and be the perfect partner to my 009 on jubilee. Basically, the 009 and jubilee in itself is already a great watch, but sometimes I find it dangling off the top of my wrist, probably a little top heavy, as much as the jubilee is absolutely comfortable. I am also not inclined to swap the jubilee as imo it fits the pepsi dial the best.



I have considered the new black monster as a daily wearer but the bezel and indices were too loud. I also did consider the Sumo but I still couldn't get over the bezel font. I also didn't want to go anything bigger than a skx009 as I felt 007/009 size were just right. Basically, I wanted something understated, versatile and on an oyster bracelet. So I narrowed it down to the SKX007. (yes i know another 009 in diff color..)



However, i came across the SKX013 lately and found it to be quite cool. It had diff hands from the 007 and the smaller size meant it would be even more comfortable than the 007. I also like the longer lugs and the smaller size came across as more elegant to me. My wrist is about 6.5-6.6".



Any bros here wearing the SKX013? How does it hold up as a daily wearer? Is it too small?



Where can I get them in SG at gd price?

Here's how it looks on my wrist. Is this too small? Thinking of fitting an oyster bracelet to it.

Looks small I think. Actually the skx007/009/011 wears smaller than their actual size. The stock jubilee is a very comfortable but "loose" bracelet and light die to the hollow end links etc, hence your watch head feels heavy. Buying a 3rd party oyster or super jubilee with solid links all around will enable the watch head to be more balanced on your wrist. Alternatively, wearing it on a leather strap will also enable it to be strapped tighter to your wrist. I have about the same wrist size 6.5 to 6.75 depending on temp and have no issues with a 007 on super jubilee or leather.

Its supposed to be a shared gift between 5 of us friends. Its ~$50 +/- a few dollars each lor. You go wedding dinner costs much, much more la!
